NEW ON THE EASEL: Bald Eagle, oil on linen, 20 x 24" Detail, work in progress

Bald Eagles are most magnificent birds I have even seen, their power and beauty is hard to describe, it is something that needs to be experienced in person.

I am fortunate to witness their recovery as a species, especially in BC, Canada. They are now a common sight along the Pacific coast ; soaring the skies or just being patiently perched at the tree tops surveying for prey. Love to hear they call, nothing like it.

This painting is my latest go at depicting their "personality" and robust attire.
