Keeping drawing skills in check is a very rewarding process :) it feel good when you are happy with result achieved without using tracing.

Using tracing techniques in most cases merely accounts for colorizing or copying of reference photos and I do not use it in my work.

Some artists are able to produce exact likeness with tracing and no doubt their technical rendition skills are top notch. Is that Art? it can be for someone; for me, freehand yields more.

I never use tracing techniques, projectors or grids.
